ANNOUNCING NEW CERTIFIED PROFESSIONAL IN
HEALTH INFORMATION EXCHANGE (CPHIE)
|
|
These audioconferences are being scheduled in conjunction with the roll out of a new professional certification of Certified Professional in Health Information Exchange (CPHIE) offered by Health IT Certification, www.HealthITCertification.com.
The CPHIE certification indicates that the holder has mastered the Common Body of Knowledge covering planning, governance, information architecture and stewardship, personal health records, telehealth and home monitoring and other exchanges of electronic information among organizations. The CPHIE curriculum incorporates the strategies to make the most of the HIE investment, enhancing capabilities, using new technologies to integrate and exchange data interoperability among organizations, addressing patient information via personal health records, home monitoring, and telehealth, and taking advantage today of preparations being made for a nationwide health information network.
Those interested in achieving CPHIE certification can take the CPHIE examination on-line beginning in July, 2008. The CPHIE Body of Knowledge includes these 6 topics and the 4 Core topics common to CPHIE, CPEHR and CPHIT. Go to www.HealthITCertification.com for information about these courses and examinations.
