Effective January 1, 2009, Medicare will provide physicians who use e-prescribing a 2% incentive for their Medicare patients. This is in addition to the benefits patients and providers are seeing in convenience and patient safety. This audioconference provides an overview of how to get started in e-prescribing, information on the new CMS incentives, tips on using e-prescribing, and description of benefits resulting from information available through e-prescribing systems.
