AUDIOCONFERENCE OVERVIEW

Funding opportunities for regional approaches to implementing and enhancing Health Information Technology initiatives (including for RHIOs, HIEs, and new regional technical support centers) were expanded dramatically with the passage of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. Join a faculty of national experts as we discuss the nature and timing of these opportunities and how to maximize your region's share. If you're considering applying for ARRA funds to develop or expand a regional initiative, you won't want to miss this timely event!

WHO SHOULD LISTEN:
These courses are useful for all stakeholders involved in the process of HIE formation, management, and use, including physicians, nurses and other clinicians; health plan provider network relations managers and strategic planners; HIE administrators and project managers; IT staff, database planners and maintainers; and others who may be engaged in policy formulation, financing, or standards setting. Policymakers and public health officials at the state and federal level will find the program useful as they develop and roll-out their programs in support of HIE and a nationwide health information network.
